Be Inspired.

Located on St. Anne Street in Bathurst, New Brunswick, movement.workshop is a dance school where quality dance education can be found.

At movement.workshop we are a family. We are passionately committed to inspiring our communities' children to be the best they can be and offer the opportunity to learn the art of dance in a positive atmosphere.

We offer classes in various dance styles for all ages, and focus on fusing dance technique with creativity. With our small classes, we are able to provide individual attention to each dancer, encouraging self-expression for an unforgettable dance experience.

Whether you want to dance for fun or train intensively, movement.workshop has a program that is right for you.

Parents are able to view their child's classes from the waiting lounge while enjoying a hot beverage, and witness the growth in their child's training throughout the year.

Our dance studio features state of the art professional sprung floors made specifically for dance, a full wall of mirrors, an excellent sound system, and is equipped with ballet barres.

During the first semester, students begin working on learning / reviewing technique which translates into choreography later in the semester / year, depending on the level. Some classes are mixed levels, but our small class structure allows the instructor to challenge each student individually to help them reach their personal goals. Students of every age are a part of the creative process of producing the year end show. From the creation of movement, to the constructing of costumes, students are encouraged to be involved and be imaginative every step of the way.
